- Born in Minnesota, I could have sworn the Gophers went to the Final Four in 1997, although your NCAA record book may disagree. I went to graduate school in Illinois where I followed the Illini to Indianapolis, Chicago, and St. Louis on their 2005 Final Four run. I also held season tickets for the Georgetown Hoyas who I cheered to the Final Four in 2007. In the past I have contributed to the Basketball Prospectus Book and Maple Street Press. I currently write for RealGM.com.
